Hey guys, another update from our team. Today we will list all of the currently available custom ROMs for Poco X3 Pro (vayu). This list will be of interest to those who are going to buy this model of smartphone, or already the happy owner.

Seems like there is a lot of firmware has already been released and our today’s list turned out to be quite big and impressive. I believe we have here more than 10 completely different ROMs here.

How to install ArrowOS 12.0 on Poco X3 Pro

First of all remove your fingerprint, PIN code and screen password on MIUI (in case you’ve used these previously).
Unlock the bootloader.
Copy downloaded ROM archive to phone internal memory (on microSD).
Flash the right recovery: OrangeFox or TWRP from Nebrassy 3.5.2-11.
Firmware MIUI 12.5.2.0 is required.
Flash the downloaded ROM .zip archive.
Flash Magisk in case you need root.
Now go to “Wipe” > “Format Data” > “Yes”.
Reboot, wait until the system starts and enjoy the working ROM.

How to update ArrowOS 12.0 to newer version

Download and use OTA updater and it will update automatically.
Download the update manually and flash it via TWRP.

crDroid Android ROM for Poco X3 Pro (vayu) is an awesome firmware which is based on LineageOS. This ROM is famous for a very large amount of different features and flexible customization.

How to install crDroid ROM on Poco X3 Pro:

Backup all your personal data.
Boot or reboot into Recovery mode.
Flash the Stock MIUI ROM V12.5.2.0. If you’re already using this version, then simply skip this step. You can also flash stock MIUI using the MiFlash or Fastboot mode, but it will take more time to complete.
Now flash CrDroid ROM.
Optionally install GAPPS and Magisk if you need root on your device.
Proceed with “Format Data” > type “Yes” and press “Enter” to confirm (not “wipe data”).
Reboot into system.

To avoid data encryption:

Flash firmware by following the steps above.
Download and install the following patch: disable-force-encrypt-v1_x3p_n10p-1.zip
Optionally install Gapps and Magisk.

Open fastboot, reboot into fastboot mode, use the following commands:

Select the previously downloaded ROM and flash it.
After flashing is completed, turn off your phone.
At this step, the phone won’t start, don’t panic.
Start the Mi Flash Tool, boot your phone in EDL mode and flash everything except these files:
1. Super, userdata, cache, recovery, cust & vdmeta.
2. To start your phone in EDL mode, press and hold both “Volume +” and “Volume -“.
Boot into recovery again and now flash the Permissiver_v5.zip.
Reboot into system. If everything was done correctly, device should start & work at that point.

Short guide on how to flash TWRP on Redmi Note 10

You’ll require an unlocked bootloader, working PC (Windows 10 preferable), minimal adb and fastboot drivers on your C:\ drive.

Download TWRP for Redmi Note 10, rename to twrp.img and move downloaded file to the adb folder on your PC.
Also copy twrp.img to your phone.
Connect your device to PC via USB cable.
Reboot into fastboot mode.
Open the adb folder, hold “shift” key and right mouse click on the empty space in this folder.
Select “Open Windows terminal here”.
Type the following command: fastboot boot twrp.img
Your device will reboot into TWRP.
Now go to “Advanced” > “Install Recovery Ramdisk” > select “twrp.img”.
Finally “Reboot” > “Recovery”.
That’s all.

How to Flash Custom ROM with on Redmi Note 10 using TWRP Custom Recovery

Here’s a quick and general guide on how you can flash different custom ROM versions on your Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 device. In case you already have TWRP this should be hard and won’t take much time.

We must warn you that some ROMs might require other recovery or have any other specifics, so please pay attention and don’t forget that you take all the responsibility by flashing your device with unofficial firmware. Also, don’t forget to make all required backups (remember, having a backup is always a good thing).

Copy download ROM .zip archive to the SD card (not into internal memory, since we will be doing a full format and all the data will be removed.
Also copy the twrp.img file. In case the root is required for you, add the Magisk as well (in .zip format).
Format “data” partition and confirm by typing “yes”.
In TWRP, go to “Mount” and mount all available partitions.
Next, press Install, select SDCard and locate the downloaded ROM archive.
Wait until installation is completed. After that reboot in recovery once again and flash Magisk if needed and then reboot into system.

How to Flash Custom ROM with on Redmi Note 10 with ADB, Fastboot

In case the recovery method isn’t working for you, and you got lots of errors and stuck with different unsolvable issues, you can try the ADB / fastboot method. Here’s a quick step-by-step tutorial. You’ll need a tool called Fastboot OTA Installer, you can find download links just below.

With the latest version it uses the fastbootd 12.5.2, ubuntu fastload fixed and now uses the separate scripts for linux and mac OS.

Few mentions before using this tool:

Dirty flash is supported, just skip the clean format
If you use windows make sure you’ve USB drivers installed.

How to use Fastboot OTA Installer?

Download the .zip archive above, unpack and move the required ROM archive to the folder with installer.
Start the flash script and wait until the script asks for device.
Start your phone in fastboot mode and connect via USB cable.
Installation process should start.
After installation is completed you should see a recovery ROM screen.
Now you can do a format, flash GAPPs or Magisk and finally reboot into system.

Having become one of the several ubiquitous Android phone manufacturers on the market, Xiaomi has established itself even further as the budget brand to consider with Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T 5G.

Sadly, with the sheer number of different device lineups available, it’s a given that feature overlap does exist, and Redmi Note 9T suffers for it.

Redmi Note 9T 5G – The Low-Down

To be perfectly clear, the Redmi Note 9T 5G is far from being a bad value proposition. It’s a competent, if slightly boring device spec-wise whose only real fault is its last-generation camera setup.

It’s a great option for those who want a 5G-ready device that won’t take half your wallet with it. Best of all, Redmi Note 9T 5G delivers all the trademark features we’ve come to expect from Xiaomi phones by now.

You’re getting quality hardware that will run just about every app on the market, all of it bundled together in a finely crafted chassis that feels good to the touch. It’s a solid all-rounder, to be sure, but if you’re not in the market for 5G, Mi 10T Lite is simply the better option.

With Mi 10T Lite, you’re getting a way better screen with more powerful hardware, a better camera setup, and don’t mind sticking with 64 GB of storage. It’s a shame, really.

Conclusion

We’re not overly surprised to see Xiaomi stepping on its own toes in some niches. Redmi Note 9T 5G is a decent enough phone in its sub-$300 price range, but most users will probably get more bang for their buck by going with Mi 10T Lite.

Having said that, if you need 5G support and if storage space is a serious consideration for you, this device may edge out over its surprising competitor. There’s the question of availability, too.

Thankfully, you cannot go wrong with the Redmi Note 9T if you ignore the comparison. It’s just that it showcases an apparent weakness is Xiaomi’s product placement policy, and perhaps a need for better device planning in the future.

True flagship-level Android phones are – as you probably know – prohibitively expensive for many users. Thankfully, the market for incredibly powerful and reliable mid-range smartphones is more versatile today than ever before, and Xiaomi Mi 10S stands out as a particularly interesting proposition.

Mi 10S – The Low-Down

Xiaomi has made a name for itself by delivering incredibly solid hardware with somewhat hit-or-miss software. While their Mi 10S won’t be able to go toe-to-toe with, say, Samsung’s S21 Ultra, it’s still going to do everything the average user would want and need of it. And then some!

Namely, one of Mi 10S’s standout features is its Snapdragon 870 processor. This cutting-edge SoC, combined with 8 – 12 GB of RAM and the Adreno 650 GPU, ensures that the device is more than capable of running any application you might want to run. Even top-end games such as Fortnite run well on it.

Setting aside its admirably well-specced internals for a moment, Xiaomi has also equipped their Mi 10S with a beautiful 6.67 inch AMOLED display. It delivers amazing colors while also pushing a full 90Hz refresh rate, making it that much more fluid than most other mainstream Android devices.

Finally, the display is HDR10+ rated, reaching its peak brightness at a whopping 1120 nits. All in all, we’re looking at one of the best mainline displays on the market right now.

Conclusion

There’s much more to Mi 10S than just what we’ve mentioned here, for sure, but the general consensus is that it’s an amazing device. Even more so if you consider its reasonable MSRP range, from $669 to $769, depending on the model you snag.

Note that it does run Xiaomi’s own MIUI version of Android. In our experience, though, it’s matured to the point of being better than the baseline OS, feature-wise. Do be ready for a short learning period while you get to grips with MIUI’s interface quirks.

Overall, Mi 10S is an incredible value proposition for those looking for powerful and reliable hardware, and who don’t mind using a non-standard version of Android.

Slick, stylish, and whip-fast, the latest cell phone from China-based Xiamoi is sure to please, especially in a world that has come to expect a beauty-meets-brains package to be the cell phone norm.

Releasing May 31, one of the the Mi 11i’s major selling point — besides its razor-sharp looks — is its display. It’s Super AMOLED, with 1080×2400 pixels that make images jump off the screen. The Mi 11i’s camera follows the lead with its crisp LED flash, HDR, and panorama capabilities. The video is fast, clean, and crystal clear.

The Mi 11i’s battery power is impressive, going to 100% in about 52 minutes thanks to its fast-charging 33W power. It keeps up well with its competitors thanks to its Android 11 or MIUI operating systems.

Lights, Camera, Action

It’s the massive camera that really is the star here, though. To accommodate the 1080MP, the phone may feel bulky at first but feels more natural over time. For those who swear by Samsung, this will take some getting used to, though. Its camera is even bigger than the one is the latest Samsung Galaxy S21.

A unique feature is a secondary screen marketed as a selfie preview screen. It’s novel, but a little strange and appears on the phone as a 1.1-inch screen that’s always displayed. Another bonus: It’s splash-proof, but that’s more of the industry norm these days.

Those technology-inclined will also love some of the additional features on the Mi 11i. There’s a tool to convert standard definition to high-definition and you’ll likely use this often since its display is bold and bright. There’s also a 360-degree ambient light sensor.

It’s also surprisingly small, at 163.7 x 76.4 x 7.8, and lighter than phones you may be used to, at just under 7 ounces.

Bottom Line

The Xiaomi Mi 11i may not be for everyone, but it will please those who value a speedy and inventive camera above all else for their phone.

While the Redmi Note 10 might not be an amazing choice for those who are interested in running intensive applications and the latest games released on Android, it should be a serious contender for the vast majority of regular users.

Redmi Note 10 – The Low-Down

Xiaomi’s Redmi lineup of devices has always targeted the budget-oriented niche. This hasn’t changed with the company’s latest refresh, as Redmi Note 10 packs a great, feature-rich punch at a really great price-point of less than $200 for the higher-end 6 GB RAM model.

As you’d expect, Redmi Note 10 is a quality product even though it’s on the cheaper end of the Android spectrum. Firm and sturdy, the chassis is built to house a reasonably-sized 6.43 inch AMOLED display. It’s hardly a fancy choice, but that’s the name of the game with Redmi devices.

Said screen is accompanied by a pair of great stereo speakers and a camera that does the trick. Don’t expect much from the selfie shooter, however.

What’s of particular note for Redmi Note 10, we feel, is the battery. At 5000 mAh, this device will easily get you through several days’ worth of moderate use, which is far from standard in, say, the flagship niche.

With the headphone jack, an IR blaster, and dual-sim and VoLTE support, Redmi Note 10 delivers what matters the most to price-sensitive buyers.

Conclusion

As the overview above ought to suggest, Redmi Note 10 doesn’t have much of a ‘wow’ factor. What it does have, however, is a wealth of features that you’ll find virtually nowhere else at the sub-$200 price point. It’s downright unbeatable in that respect!

Once again, Xiaomi proves that they’re the kings of budget Android devices. Whether being stuck with MIUI is worth the (minimal) price of admission, though, is up to you.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is a perfect example of a well-rounded mid-range phone that packs a surprising punch for its price. It has a great display, an outstanding main camera, a gorgeous design, and it is powered by the Snapdragon 732G processor.

Mid-range phones are not exactly well-known for gorgeous displays, but the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has an impressive display. It is a 6.55″ 1080p AMOLED 90Hz display with support for HDR10 and 1 billion colors with a peak brightness of 800 nits. It looks and feels incredibly smooth, in no small part thanks to the 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The punch-hole 16MP selfie camera has a Sony sensor with a Quad-Bayer color filter. It shoots sharp and natural-looking selfies and the dynamic range is great too.

The triple camera layout on the back boasts a 64MP Samsung GW3 sensor with PDAF, An 8MP Sony ultrawide 16mm lens, and a 5MP Samsung macro camera for closeup shots. The main camera saves images in 16MP by default which look very sharp and have low noise and excellent dynamic range.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G Octa-core processor built on the 8 nm node and it has an Adreno 618 GPU. The processor is enough to make the phone feel snappy and fast and it allows for some gaming as well.

The phone is available in 3 different storage options. The options are 64GB with 6GB RAM, 128GB with 6GB RAM, and 128GB with 8GB RAM with UFS 2.2.

The battery is a 4250 mAh Li-Po unit that supports fast-charging up to 33W through the USB Type-C port. The phone sits nicely in the hand with its Gorilla Glass 5 front and rear glass and curved plastic frame. The phone does not come with any splash resistance.

Poco is Xiaomi’s flagship killer brand and the Pocophone F3 is the newest model out there. It has incredible specs and the design of the phone gives off a premium feel without going over the board.

The display is a 6.67″ 1080p AMOLED 120Hz display with support for HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. It looks absolutely incredible and there is absolutely nothing to complain about here. The tiny hole punch cutout for the selfie camera takes up very little space and gives the phone an 85.9% screen-to-body ratio.

Speaking of the selfie camera, it is a 20MP Samsung shooter that takes sharp and natural-looking photos with good dynamic range. The triple rear camera layout has a 48MP Sony Quad-Bayer sensor, an 8MP Sony ultrawide, and a 5MP Samsung macro camera. The photos are only 12MP by default, which you can change in the settings. The photos look great with a high dynamic range and natural lighting.

The Poco F3 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G Octa-core processor with Adreno 650 GPU and it is built on the 7 nm process. It is a blazing fast phone thanks to its flagship specs and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The UFS 3.1 storage comes in two options: 128GB/6GB RAM and 256GB/8GB RAM.

There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and stereo speakers but there is no water or dust resistance. The phone is still well-built with Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides of the phone and an aluminum frame. The curves of the phone allow it to sit naturally in your hand.

The battery is 4520 mAh Li-po and it supports 33W fast charging that goes 0 to 100% in 52 minutes thanks to Quick Charge 3+. And the software is MIUI 12 based on Android 11 with a few minor differences made by Poco.

The Poco X3 Pro is an excellent mid-range phone that is worthy of the Poco brand. The performance and the features that this phone brings to the table are simply incredible for the price.

On the front, you get a 6.67″ IPS LCD 1080p display. While you can find phones with AMOLED displays at this price point nowadays, none of them come close to the 120Hz refresh rate with HDR10 and a 240Hz touch sampling rate which make this phone a great choice for gaming.

The design of the phone is identical to the X3. There is the bold POCO branding written on the back and a circle where all the camera hardware is housed. The rear and frame of the phone are made of plastic and the front display is protected by Gorilla Glass 6.

The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 Octa-core processor with Adreno 640 GPU, which is what makes this phone so special. It is a very powerful processor that is capable of running games at smooth framerates. And the UFS 3.1 storage makes the phone even faster, with options of either 128GB/6GB RAM or 256GB/8GB RAM.

The front selfie camera is a punch hole style and it is a 20MP Samsung sensor that shoots sharp selfies. The rear main camera is a 48MP Sony sensor with PDAF and there are also the 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth camera. The photos look great and have a decent dynamic range.

The X3 Pro is powered by a very large 5160 mAh Li-Po battery that can last the whole day. It supports fast charging of up to 33W that can go 0 to 100% in about an hour.

The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that works well and it also comes with IP53 dust and splash resistance.
