Try this method
– install magisk manager
– in magisk, add module “ARcore/Playground patcher”
– Reboot
– wipe data on google playstore
– Download latest ARcore on playstore
– Add new value on build.prop
“persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1”
– Reboot
Thats it, ARcore is installed properly

You can try it by open Just a Line or an app that need ARcore

I have try it on my Xiaomi redmi 5 plus MIUI10 and it works

Why can’t the manufacturer deal with this in an official patch
I for one will not buy any products from a company who refuses to update as I would rather own a phone made by company that looks after its users.
