Hi I have a Redmi 4 phone and i am getting Sim card not detecting issue.
It works for few mints and after that No signals in SIM.
When same SIM tried in other mobile it works fine.
Kindly tell how to resolve this issue. I tried multiple restart and network manual setting aswell.

I have this same issue on my redmi note 7, just got it last week and neither Sim slots work anymore any suggestions? I’ve tried everything stated above…

Redmi 4 features are good. after 7 or 8 months later, it started to give trouble to me. It shows sim 1 and sim 2 signals. when I tried to call a phone the signals are disappeared. After that they came again. But no use. When I consult a MI Technician he simply says change the mother board and its cost is only Rs. 5000. I decided not to buy any Xiaomi phones

Hi Frederick Jerome,
I am Murthy from Vijayawada of Andhra Pradesh, India.
Coming to the point….
I have recently purchased a mobile of RN4, 4/64 variant for which SIMs will not work, but they show the carrier name in Settings ——>Sim cards & mobile networks and both IMEI numbers are also present.
And on the task bar area also, they show “x” mark, the signal bars like water mark.
Presently it shows NO SERVICE.
3 days back, I have downgraded MIUI version from 10.2. to 8.2.1.0. Now the version is 8.2.1.0 and the android version is 6.0.1
When I flashed the 8.2.1.0, it showed me the signals for sometime and then I have, fortunately, applied for bootloader unlock officially.
Today, around an hour back, the set was OFFICIALLY UNLCOKED BOOTLOADER SUCCESSFULLY.
Now,

based on the situation, I am unable to find out the problem whether software or hardware.

Please help me in this regard.
