Restoring NVRAM and IMEI code on Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime (HM4 Prime, Markw)

1. Download and install QPST and Qualcomm USB Drivers on your PC or laptop: QPST.WIN.2.7.429.rar
2. Enable USB Debugging.
3. Enable Diag Mode on your phone. Enter this code *#*#13491#*#* and in the opened window tap on the first button (DIAG, SERIAL_SMD, RMNET_IPA, ADB) and press “Ok”. If you can’t enter Diad Mode, you can try flashing to official MIUI8 Stable 8.0.5.0 ROM version using the MiFlash tool.
4. Now connect your turned on phone to PC and check “Device manager” to see if all required drivers are installed.
5. Now we’ll make QCN backup. That’s important, so we can roll back in case of any issues.
6. First of all copy your IMEI and MEID code and save somewhere.
7. Start “QPST Configuration” tool. In the opened window you should see your device in the list. If the list is empty double check all required drivers on your PC.
8. In the top menu select “Start Clients \ Software Download”. In the opened window select “Backup” tab. Now press the “Browse” button in the bottom and select a place where you want to save backup of your modem settings (it’s recommended to save in both .qcn and .xqcn file types). Press “Start” to continue. Repeat for another file type.
9. Now we will move the new modem setting. Download and unpack redmi4pro_8null.zip, in this archive you’ll find clean modem files with IMEI=800000000000000. Go to “Restore” tab, press the “Browse” button in the bottom and select file that we’ve previously unpacked from redmi4pro_8null.zip archive.
10. Select “Allow phone / file ESN mishmatch”.
11. Press “Start” and wait until the process is completed.
12. Close all QPST windows!
13. Now we’ll restore our IMEI code.
14. Reboot your phone.
15. Go to “Settings” > “About” and tap a few time on “Storage” > “About phone” and you should see your phone number and clean IMEI (800000000000000). You will need to change this to your own IMEI codes you’ve previously saved. For this we’ll need to download qualcomm_IMEI_Write_tool.zip
16. Unpack Qualcomm IMEI Write Tool and start WriteDualIMEI(W+G_eMMC).exe (in case you want to write the MEID code, then use the “qualcomm Write IMEI MEID.exe” file.).
17. Simply enter your both IMEI codes and and press “Start” to continue. You should see a success message if everything was done correctly.
18. In the end we need to disable Diag Mode. Enter *#*#13491#*#* and tap on the last button (MTP,ADB) and press “Ok”.

• QPST: QPST.WIN.2.7.429.rar
• NVRAM backup with clean IMEI (800000000000000) and empty MEID (90000000000000): redmi4pro_8null.zip
• Qualcomm IMEI Write Tool: qualcomm_IMEI_Write_tool.zip

How to restore IMEI on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Special Edition

1. First connect your device to PC via USB cable and start Minimal ADB and Fastboot.
2. Enter these commands in command prompt:

   adb devices
   adb shell
   su
   setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb

3. Device will be reconnected.
4. Now enter the commands below:

   adb shell
   su
   getprop sys.usb.config

5. At this point, in device manager you should see a COM port and Qualcomm HS-USB Android DIAG 901D (COM21).
6. Download and unpack kate_00000000_0.zip
7. Open 00000000_0.qcn file from previously downloaded archive with Hex Workshop.
8. Now start IMEI Converter.exe and enter your IMEI for SIM 1 (later for SIM 2).
9. In the Hex Workshop find this line “08 8A 06 51 03 73 10 95 56” and replace with your SIM 1 IMEI code from IMEI Converter. Now look for “08 8A 06 51 03 73 10 95 49” and replace with SIM 2 code from IMEI Converter.
10. Save and close Hex Workshop.
11. Open Minimal ADB and Fastboot and enter these commands:

    adb shell
    su
    dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 of=/sdcard/modemst1
    dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p14 of=/sdcard/modemst2
    dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16 of=/sdcard/fsg
    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13
    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p14
    dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16
    reboot

12. Repeat steps 1-4.
13. Start QPST tool and select device (if it doesn’t recognized click on “Add New Port”).
14. Press “Start Clients” > “Software Download” and locate 00000000_0.qcn
15. Click on “Restore” tab and press “Start”.
16. Reboot your device.
17. That’s it! You should now have IMEI restored.

Restore IMEI on HomTom HT3 Android Device

1. Download and unpack this archive: restore_imei.zip
2. Use Notepad++ or other text editor software and open run.bat
3. Add your IMEI code, for example: imei.exe IMEI1 IMEI2
4. Save the file with your IMEI.
5. Start run.bat, if everything was done correctly, the file MP0B_001 will be created.
6. Copy MP0B_001 into phone SD Card or internal memory.
7. Download and install Root Browser or ES Explorer app.
8. Now using the file explorer, copy and replace MP0B_001 file to /data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001
9. Reboot your device.
10. IMEI should be now restored and working.

Restoring IMEI on Nomi i508 Energy – The Easy Way

If you stuck with “This command is not allowed in UserBuild” error, insert a “space” after the “+”. For example: AT+ EGMR=1,7,”Your IMEI”.

Another method is a little bit harder, but works on pretty much every Android device. First you must have root on your device. For this purposes you’ll need to install some file manager application, ES Explorer for example.

Now download and unpack this archive: restore_imei.zip (16.8 Kb)

In the archive you’ll find “run” file. Open it with notepad or Notepad++ editor. Find imei.exe line and enter your IMEI. Save the file. Now start the run.bat file. If everything was done correctly, the MP0B_001 will be created. Copy this file to your phone. Open ES Explorer app and copy MP0B_001 to “/data/nvram/md/NVRAM/NVD_IMEI/MP0B_001” and replace the original file.

How to restore WiFi MAC Address on Nomi i508 Energy

The easy way (root is required):

1. Download and install ChameleMAC
2. Generate new MAC Address or enter the old one (if you’ve previously saved it).
3. Press “Apply” and reboot your device.
4. Now check if MAC address is working. If not, repeat the steps again.

Second way (root is not required)

1. Turn off WiFi.
2. Enter engineering menu.
3. Go to “Connectivity” menu, select WiFi > NVRAM.
4. In ByteStringAcces enter addr – 4 and length – 6.
5. Press “Read”.
6. In “value” field you should see the current MAC address, if you see zeros, that means the MAC address is missing.
7. Correct it or enter new MAC.
8. Press “write”
9. Reboot your device.
