I have spent hours looking for simple solution for ADB to detect my xiaomi redmi note 4x …. all solutions cannot work except for “ADB Driver Lite (32/64-bit) for Redmi Note 4X” via device manager manual install driver !! Don’t waste time installing the rest, already tried and cannot work. I hope this comment works for someone else.

I try to install drivers for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X, but win writes an error code 10: This device can not be started. I have at BIOS set USB enable or all options. Could you help me please?

On the note4x (unlocked) running MIUI Global 8.5.3 Stable, I can’t install twrp recovery image to save my life. Tried about 4 different versions and all I get is “FAILED (remote: size too large)”. The umpteen ways to get adb/fastboot doesn’t help any either. Some guides say to use usb debugging and some don’t even mention it. The Mi PC Suite fails to recognize my phone, and the MiFlasher does not recognize the global official latest zip either.
Anybody know how to twrp/root this thing?

Specify if only for Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x ‘Qualcomm Snapdragon 625’ or ‘MTK Helio X20’ variant please. (if any difference)
