Just find in google miui 8.0.5.0 fastboot rom fpr mi5, then flash using edl mode or test point, after boot up and stuck on insert mi account, just put the phone on edl mode again and flash the patch above, then put out sim card and skip all tutorial until you reach menu, then activate debugging mode, then run the software mi account unlock tool and click dissable mic account, hope that help you 🙂

I tried witj may miui version but just as he said only work on miui 8..0.5 bellow, tried that with mi5 and work as a charm, but it so sad I cant remove mi account on miui 8.1 above,
