To anyone who might find description of my mistake useful:
The first time I followed the first procedure description (Enable root on Xiaomi Mi A1 Android 8.0.0 ROM). The link to Magisk manager does not work, so I downloaded Magisk manager 16.0 from the official site. Maybe that was the problem. It is also possible that this procedure is not compatible with the march (2018) update of the Oreo, which was installed on the phone when I started the procedure.

I reflashed the phone with stock image (Link at the top of this page, I downloaded the “tissot_images_V9.5.4.0.ODHMIFA_20180226.0000.00_8.0_5773957dcd.tgz” package – the “flash_all_except_storage.bat” works nicely – all my apps and data remained).
This solved the WiFi problem and unrooted the phone of course.

The second time I followed the second procedure (How to install TWRP and root Mi A1 with Android 8 Oreo ROM) and this one seems to have worked – the phone is rooted and WiFi still works.

I have the same issue as Babal. Root worked, but now my WiFi won’t turn ON.
Does any one else have the same issue or more importantly, a solution?
I have Oreo March update and Magisk 16.0

i’ve been followed this instruction and root completed, but it break my wifi connection .
wifi seem to be refused to ON..
Any suggestion to fix this?
