The third iteration in the Mi Android One series, Xiaomi Mi A3, offers one of the best cameras in its price point and regular software updates.
We especially love how its triple-lens camera produces shots filled with abundant detail. And why should it not? After all, it flaunts a primary camera with a whooping 48-megapixel capability. That’s in addition to an ultra-wide, 8-megapixel lens that is coupled with a 2-megapixel sensor for depth.
Although its 6-inch plus display has a somewhat paltry 720x1560p resolution, it’s nonetheless backed by a powerful 4030mAh battery.
But add the phone’s Snapdragon 665 chip and 4GB of RAM and you’ll see why we still think that this device offers premium performance despite being affordable.
Also, the Mi A3 is an excellent choice for those willing to try out various ROMs. So, here we list some that range from those that sport a Google Pixel feel, to those that can bring MIUI back to the Mi A3.
Official MIUI ROMs for MI A3 (laurel_sprout)
Currently there’s only Global Stable MIUI ROM version released for MiA3, if we’ll see more releases, we will update this post:
The Mi A3 shares hardware with the Xiaomi Mi CC9e. It’s thus possible to install MIUI ports extracted from the Mi CC9e on the Mi A3. The only thing worth noting is that while updated Mi A3s run on Android 10, these MIUI ports run on Android 9.
