The Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro is available in gold, red, blue and black. The smartphone has 32GB or 64 GB storage and 3GB or 4GB RAM. Released in September 2018, the 6 Pro has a plastic body measuring 149.33mm by 71.68mm by 8.75mm, it weighs 178g and has a 4000mAh irremovable battery, the SAR value is 0.96 and the screen size is 5.84 inches. The display resolution is 1080×2280 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio and density of 432ppi. A 2GHz octa-core or 8x2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor powers the latest Redmi. It has expandable storage using microSD for as much as 256GB. There is a dedicated slot for microSD.
Xiaomi 6 Pro has two rear cameras, 12MP and 5MP, with auto focus for phase detection and LED flash. There is a 5MP front camera but with no flash. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It has Bluetooth v 4.20, Wi-Fi and GPS, Infrared, FM, USB OTG and Micro-USB, 4G/LTE and 3G compatibility. There is no NFC, USB Type-C and one slot is for Nano SIM as the other is GSM. Redmi Pro 6 supports face unlock but not three dimensional face recognition. There is a fingerprint sensor, magnetometer or compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope and light sensor.

Please pay attention that with the latest Xiaomi updates and the introduction of the “Anti Roll Back” system the case of getting hard brick (or soft bricked) device is become much more frequent. Previously you can get hardbricked device in result of downgrading your firmware version, but now it could happen even with upgrades. So make sure you’re fully understand the process of flashing and take all the responsibility for all the possible issues with your phone.
