How to install NitrogenOS Oreo?

  1. Download the latest NitrogenOS ROM version for Redmi 4X and Gapps (optionally).
  2. Boot into TWRP Custom Recovery and proceed with required wipes (wipe Data, Cache, System and cache/dalvik partitions).
  3. Go to “Install” menu, locate downloaded ROM and put Gapps in the line as well.
  4. Wait until installation is completed.

In some cases, it’s required to format Data (happens if your device gets encrypted), so it’s recommended to backup personal data (photography, music and contacts) to external SD card.
