How to flash modem on Xiaomi Redmi 4

TWRP Method

  1. Download TWRP modem file.
  2. Connect smartphone to PC and copy modem file to the internal memory root.
  3. IN TWRP: Press “Install” and select archive with modem file.
  4. Select “Reboot after flashing”.
  5. Wait until installation is completed.

Fastboot Method

This method is working only with unlocked bootloader.

  1. Download Platform-tools (adb/fastboot) and unpack in C:\tools
  2. Download required modem files extract them into a C:\tools folder
  3. Start your device in fastboot mode (turn off then hold power button and volume down, after short vibration signal release the power button and wait for fastboot logo to appear).
  4. Connect your device to PC via USB cable.
  5. In the C:\tools folder find & run “flash_modem.bat”.
  6. Wait until device reboots and then disconnect from PC.
