Just checked Twitter and found an amazing news! Xiaomi Mi Max 2 device has finally received a long-awaited Global Stable MIUI ROM. We also would like to thank all the Xiaomi & MIUI developers as well as alpha & beta testers for making this possible.
Global Stable ROM 8.5.4.0 for Xiaomi Mi Max 2
This is a first release of Global ROM, so no change-log is available, but you can check the official thread on MIUI forum right here.
Global ROM is created and developer for the users outside of China and come without Chinese apps, but have inbuilt Google Applications. Also there’s a lot of available languages, including Russian and Ukrainian.
