How to install MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM
First and easy way: If you’re using previous version of official MIUI Global Stable ROM, you can check out “Updater” app on your device. If update is available, just follow the instruction on your phone to update your device to MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM.
Install MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM using Fastboot
Another way to flash MIUI 8.2 Global Stable ROM on your Xiaomi device is to use fastboot mode. First you’ll need to download fastboot ROM and flash via fastboot method. Make sure to make full wipe if you’re updating from previous MIUI version (remember to make full data backup).
