How to flash fastboot ROM on Redmi K30 & Poco X2?

First unlock the bootloader on your phone and only then proceed to the following guide:

  1. Download ADB / Fastboot platform tools from the link above and unpack to “C:\adb” folder.
  2. Download the fastboot ROM version and unpack ROM to the folder with adb/fastboot files.
  3. Turn your phone in fastboot mode and connect to PC via USB-cable.
  4. Go to the “C:\adb” folder and start the “flash_all.bat” file.
    • Pay attention! Don’t use flash_all_lock.bat file while installing official India firmware version on Redmi K30 device, otherwise you’ll have a bricked device.
  5. Wait until installation is finished, your device will reboot.
  6. Disconnect from PC.

How to fix “Missmatching image and device” & “Current device antirollback version is greater than this package” issue?

  1. Edit .bat file with your favorite text editor tool.
  2. Download the upper paragraph until this line: fastboot %* erase boot || @echo “Erase boot error” && exit /B 1
  3. Save edited .bat file and try to run it again.

Fix flash_all.bat window closing immediately issue

Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Open the terminal window by pressing Win + R buttons and type “cmd”, press “Enter”.
  2. Open the folder with adb/fastboot tools (“C:\adb” in our case) with the following command: cd C:\adb
  3. Manually move the .bat file to the window and press enter to continue.

Download and install TWRP for Redmi K30 & Poco X2

  1. Download ADB / Fastboot platform tools from the link above and unpack to “C:\adb” folder.
  2. Download the latest TWRP version here.
  3. Rename downloaded file to twrp.img and move to the folder with adb files.
  4. Start your device in fastboot mode.
  5. Connect to PC via usb cable.
  6. Start the “flash_twrp.bat” file.
  7. Allow “System” partition modification if it’s required by TWRP.
  8. Enter the password if requested. If you didn’t use password previously or your recovery doesn’t support decryption, use the MicroSD / USB Flash through the OTG for the next steps.
  9. Copy twrp.img & DM-Verify & Force Encrypt Disabler to the phone internal memory and disconnect the phone from PC.
  10. In TWRP open the “Install” menu > locate twrp.img image > select “Recovery” partition > install the image file and select “Reboot” > “Recovery”.
  11. Once your device boots in recovery, go to “Install” > locate DM-Verify & Force Encrypt Disabler and install.
  12. Go to reboot and reboot into system.
